An intellectual approach

A seemingly ordinary student/teacher meeting outside of class turns into not only an arousing Sapphic sex scene, but a philosophical discussion of some depth.

Charlie Forde is perfect as the professor who takes the opportunity to dominate her adoring student Dharma Jones after they have a healthy to and fro discussing no less than the meaning of life. The classroom instigation of their conversation is a film built around Chekhov's Gun, and the difference between real-life incidents and the artistry of fiction, where every detail can have a purpose in building a story. I had only encountered this topic in terms of Hitchcock's principles of suspense, so the attribution to playwright Chekhov was useful (who says porn can't be educational?).

Both actresses are exceedingly skillful in moving back and forth between making points verbally and then amplifying them sexually, in a basically dom/sub relationship. Having sex in the confines of a tiny office can be awkward (and phony "for the camera") in Adult Cinema, but here even an acrobatic 69 position is quite original. One nice casting touch is having Dharma Jones as the intellectually curious student: google her name dharma and you'll see what I mean.

Kudos to writer Maddy Burton for a screenplay she can sign with pride.
