Jake Gyllenhaal does nearly exclusively drama with a little action and even less sci-fi, but Source Code was very, very good. It was thrilling, intense, interesting, intriguing, and had a shocking twist. I very rarely mention plot twists in movies, but that one was a doozy. At times the dialogue and explanation about the Source Code can be a little hard to follow but the storyline was simple enough. This movie had a lot of plot condensed to an hour and 33 minutes, creating a heart pounding fast paced ride, making Source Code one of my top 3 favorite Jake Gyllenhaal films that I can recommend to almost any type of viewer.
