  • During a funeral, a man stares at a woman's legs in stockings while she prays.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman is stabbed to death. We see a gloved killer hold up a knife, before the woman turns and reacts in shock. The scene cuts away, and we later see her dead in the garage, lying in her blood. The effects are mild.
  • A woman is found dead in a ditch under rubble. There's little gore, we only see her corpse in a flashback. We later see her corpse being unearthed from the cemetery, mildly decomposed, in preparation for morgue testing.
  • A cat is killed. We see blood over the cat's throat and on the grass. This scene can be distressing for viewers sensitive to animal cruelty.
  • A woman's corpse is seen in the woods with her throat slit, her face gaping in shock. It is the bloodiest scene in the film, but the gore is moderate.
  • There is archive footage of real bullfighting in which the bull is stabbed repeatedly; a horse also appears to be gored, and the rider falls off. There's much blood and several shots of the wounded and dead animals.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Heroin is mentioned several times in the film. One character is addicted to drugs, and he is seen injecting himself at least once.
  • A detective smokes a pipe throughout the film, which is partly responsible for his coughing and breathing problems.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The bullfighting footage is extremely graphic and violent and can be distressing to many viewers.
  • Several flashback sequences show distressing and bloody cuts of past scenes and other imagery, which can be at least moderately distressing for viewers.
  • There are numerous mentions of Satanism and black magic, with one character being an occultist.
  • The glassy eyes of a character addicted to drugs may be mildly distressing for viewers.

  • A child is strangled to death. There is no gore, we only see her corpse. There is more distress from her going missing, then a maid screaming when she's found.

  • Statements reveal a woman's death by heroin overdose.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One scene shows a woman motioning to the upper floor of her home after knocking something out of a window. Another character had a heart attack, and they presumably die shortly thereafter. (They're later revealed to have lived.)
