Rather than argue with Cassie, 19, or give her a lecture, Chris, a warehouse inventory worker who moonlights as a comedian and actor, decided to show off his own "sexy" side and recreate her selfies, posting them in his daughter's comments on Instagram and Facebook. Now the results have gone viral, with people around the world laughing at (and with) the creative dad on social media. "After posting my latest photo, I went to bed on Sunday night...

4th Update: Issuing a statement to South African newspaper The Star and ABC News, Sa-born PR pro Justine Sacco apologized for the offensive AIDS Tweet that led to her firing from Iac over the weekend: “Words cannot express how sorry I am, and how necessary it is for me to apologize to the people of South Africa, who I have offended due to a needless and careless tweet. There is an AIDS crisis taking place in this country, that we read about in America, but do not live with or face on a continuous basis. Unfortunately, it is terribly easy to be cavalier about an epidemic that one has never witnessed firsthand. “For being insensitive to this crisis – which does not discriminate by race, gender or sexual orientation, but which terrifies us all uniformly – and to the millions of people living with the virus, I am ashamed. “This is my father’s country,...

Whetting fans' appetites for the season premiere later tonight, Kerry Washington promoted "Scandal" on "Good Morning America" on Thursday (October 3).
At the end of last season, it became public news that her character Olivia Pope was the president's mistress and that Rowan is actually her father.
Speaking about the paternity revelation, the 36-year-old actress explained, "Yea, I had no idea. Joe Morton, the actor who plays my dad, he knew, but I had no idea. When I got the script for the season finale, I turned to the very last page of the script and I saw those three letters, d-a-d. I thought, 'Are you kidding me?! This is my father?!' So that is exactly where we start the season premiere."
Declining to give any plot details for the upcoming season, Kerry shared, "Every week it's a rollercoaster ride and we all feel really lucky to be on this show.

A talented Irish actor on stage and in films for Ford and Huston
For an actor who worked with two of the greatest movie directors of the last century and appeared in the world premieres of plays by Brian Friel, Ireland's leading contemporary dramatist, Donal Donnelly, who has died after a long illness, aged 78, was curiously unrecognised. Like so many prominent Irish actors in the diasporas of Hollywood, British television, the West End and Broadway – all areas he conquered – Donnelly was a great talent and a private citizen, happily married for many years, and always seemed youthful.

In John Huston's swansong movie The Dead (1987), the best screen transcription of a James Joyce fiction,...
