Whew, what a flick! A woman starts an affair with an amoral crud. Or does he start the affair? Anyway, she realizes that this lack of respect relationship is going nowhere so she marries a moneyed young man who is the son of her mother's best friend. The marriage ambles along unexcitedly because hubby, considering he's got a hot wife, is somewhat undersexed. Then the amoral crud shows up, entices the wife into his snare because she can't help lovin' that dirtbag, and everything hits the fan. The husband finds out about the affair and builds up enough manhood to fight the crud. When the dust settles the husband ends up dead and the mother-in-law kicks the wife out of her life. The woman finds herself on a boat in high seas and ends up on an island filled with seals and the charming family that clubs them. Sheesh, THAT part is hard to watch. Anyway this family is comprised of an old geezer, his old geezer wife, and their three seal-clubbing sons. The oldest son tends to maul the woman in front of his folks. Jiminy. The whole mess is like a turgid fever-dream. Definitely only for Isabel Sarli fans. I got the Something Weird DVD-R from Amazon which is adequate quality.

awful

Saw this years ago. Somebody loaned me an old VHS tape and said it was a good movie. I think it was meant as some sort of sick joke. I wasn't amused.

This is a horrible black and white Isabel Sarli crapfest which has her cavorting around on a beach with a bunch of thuggish-looking guys who are all vying for her attention. In between the romance scenes the film shows graphic, uncut scenes of sea lions being viciously clubbed and murdered en masse. It's absolutely hideous. They never would have allowed this today.
