This series is from the same dudes . . .

. . . who churned out scores of Tom & Jerry pictures. After failing many remedial drawing classes at Tinsel Town area high schools, MGM finally lost patience with this clueless duo, giving them their walking papers. This was a tad ironic, because one of the main complaints about the cat & mouse animations was that the sorry screen mates could not draw animals running to save their lives--or jobs. The pathetic trots of the Three Little Pigs and Loopy in WOLF HOUNDED pale in comparison to Speedy Gonzalez, Popeye, Andy Panda, Roadrunner, Brutus, Chilly Willy, Daffy Duck, Olive Oil, Woody Woodpecker, Bugs Bunny, Sweet Pea, Wally Walrus, Michigan J. Frog or even Pluto. Any film from Joe and Bill deserves at least three demerits if it involves running.

It turns out that you have to handle this film . . .

. . . with kid gloves, which probably are more likely to be manufactured from young goats than lambs. The crew of WOLF HOUNDED seem to be some sort of sacred cows, whose descendants or intellectual property rights heirs are preternaturally sensitive to whose ox is being gored. When commentators are prohibited from discussing anything that happens on-screen during WOLF HOUNDED, as well as barred from mentioning any behind-the-scene tidbits involving the cast or crew, precious little fodder is left for frank rehashing. This site forces people into becoming cows, chewing their cud over and over and over. Too bad we're about three stomachs short of being able to tolerate such outrage in the long term.
