With a plotline thinner than a toothpick, K Bhagyaraj weaves a wonderful tale of rustic love. The highlight of the film is the screenplay, well supported by Ilayaraja's unforgettable songs. M N Nambiar excels in a supporting role. Basically a film that's a lesson in screenplay writing.
