Obiteljska stvar is a 12 episodes long mini series with soapy story line. Ivan Kovac is a good standing business man, devoted to his wife and children, but majority of time he spends dedicated to his work, which leads to his wife Elvira's frustration. Before she will become a desperate housewife, at one exhibition she gets to know a charming pianist Goran Nadalli and she begins an affair with him, without knowing that Nadalli is nothing but a common playboy. At the same time, a break-in in Ivan's company occurred, but nothing got stolen. Ivan hires his best friend Marko to investigate. During the investigation Marko begins a romance with a beautiful secretary Sanja who is one of the main suspects. Ivan notices a change in his wife Elvira and opens his heart to a family friend Maja, a sculptress who is secretly in love with him. Maja knows about Elvira's affair with the pianist and often times Elvira uses her as an alibi, but Maja doesn't wanna to lie to Ivan. As the investigation follows from simple break-in it is discovered that there's more to it then it meets the eye and every new trace brings to Elvira's past which brought up to surface the whole criminal underground who is out to destroy a simple family.
