The title "Diplomatix" already says that this 32-minute film should not be taken too seriously. It is a Norwegian production starring the comedy trio KLM, but it is in English language, probably because of narrator Peter Cook's nationality. The title says it already, this is a spoof on diplomacy with lots of focus and comedic gravity on the nationalities of the people depicted herein. I personally would say there was a funny moment here and there, but as a whole it was not enough, not even for a film that only runs slightly over half an hour. I guess the trio I mentioned earlier is somewhat known in Norway, but they never made it famous abroad also not in other European countries, let alone the United States. I am German and I have never heard of them. Oh well, maybe I am not doing them justice and they were better known in the 1980s when this one came out slightly over 30 years ago. i actually believe Norway's youth today probably is not familiar with them anymore today either. But looking at how I was not that well entertained here, I cannot really blame them. Not recommended.
