So terrible it's great!
scotth71915 July 2005
I came across this movie in the blockbuster years ago and decided to give it a try. The dialog sounds like it was written by a child, and it looks like it was filmed on someone's home video camera. The actors are sub par and the "special effects" are virtually non-existent. The actors fire plastic guns with no blanks or charges, and the sound of gun fire was added later in editing. All that being said it was so terrible I found myself laughing and having a great time with the movie. I can't say I recommend this movie, but if you come across it and are even slightly interested you would probably get the same enjoyment out of it as I did.

Go Contact Blow!

I say YAY for anyone who has made a movie from start to finish -- especially before the age of the Canon XL1 and Final Cut Pro. This is definitely an independent independent movie but i have seen MUCH worse studio films. Don't rent it if you're some uptight Rex Reed. But if you're cool and fun, sit back with the popcorn and enjoy. They even have a real snake! And the soundtrack was pretty darn good. Lots of action sequences, great locations. Falling off the cliff and bridge -- pretty cool. Windmill fight. Nice. Wish I was on this shoot. It looks like they had a lot of fun. Struggling filmmakers unite! Some studio movies I DID love this year are There Will Be Blood (finally a movie that takes its time with scenes. Daniel Day is AWESOME!) No Country For Old Man. Again, fantastic classic film-making (from the C brothers?!) and I thought Casey Affleck was FANTASTIC in The Assassination Of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. And my favorite scary movie besides The Shining is SUSPIRIA. With the original blasting soundtrack. Check it out!

Yikes! Absolutely Yikes!

Watching bad films and learning to walk away from them CAN be an art form. I must say that this film is one of the closest brushes with "death" I have ever encountered. This film is terrible. There I said it. I will also say this is one of the worst films in existence. Perhaps due to its tiny budget, a myriad of terrible acting and poor locations, poorly made and shot action sequences. Poor derivative screen writing shot on a home movie camera, from the looks of it. Whatever the reason this was simply one of those movies where no amount of quipping can make the hurting stop. Rent it if you dare! Buy it if you must! This movie is one downer experience i have yet to forget!

Scary stuff

Scary stuff and not scary in the way I think the director wanted it to be. This is one bad movie! It is so bad it is good. It is funny even though it doesn't mean to be. The production quality is like a bad porno flick and there's not even any sex worth mentioning! The chick in the bar in the pink suit is cute until she opens her mouth. Bad, bad, bad movie. You keep waiting for the punch line but there isn't one. Bad acting all around and the one guy's accent is pitiful. The story makes no sense and the sound quality is so poor you couldn't follow a storyline even if there was one. It may be worth it for the unintended laughs though.
