Tyra Banks has confirmed she's reprising her role of Eve from the 2000 Disney film Life-Size in the movie's sequel. While there are a ton of people who are nostalgic for the TV movie, which originally premiered on ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney, some of us haven't experienced the "sparkle and shine" of Life-Size. Until now. All we knew going in is that Tyra plays a doll who becomes a human, and Lindsay Lohan happens to be there too. Well, we watched Life-Size, and there's a lot we need to discuss. Picture this: A world where children don't really want to play with dolls anymore. This is a place where kids would prefer a toy with "microchips" in...

Two years ago, Tyra Banks shared, in an interview with Digital Spy, that a sequel to her 2000 movie "Life-Size" was in development. Rumors of a sequel have been floating around prior to that reveal, but nothing concrete had been confirmed until she mentioned it; and nothing has been reported about it since that interview 2 years ago... until now. Banks, speaking to Variety yesterday, Banks shared that a sequel to the original was officially in development, with the Disney Channel as a likely home for it. “There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!” Banks said. “I’m just joking with you, but yes, I am going to...

There have been rumblings about a "Life-Size" sequel seemingly ever since the 2000 Disney Channel movie made its debut, but now, it appears that a follow-up is officially happening, with original star Tyra Banks confirmed to reprise her role.
In an interview with Variety, Banks said that she would be back as Eve, the doll that Lindsay Lohan brings to life in the original.
"There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!" Banks winkingly told the trade. "I'm just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve."
Lohan's involvement is less certain, though Variety reports that she's not currently attached to the film, and is unlikely to return. Instead, there will be a new little girl (or guy) playing alongside Banks, though the model-actress said that the development process had not reached the casting phase just yet, and Banks had "no...

We weren't kidding when we advised you to brush up on your "Be a Star" lyrics: Tyra Banks has now told Variety she will officially be reappearing as Eve in the long-overdue Life-Size sequel. The (kind of) talk-show host is also attached to serve as executive producer, gunning for late-2016 and the holidays as her next chance to be an inspirational, magical doll-slash-human. "There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!" she (kind of) joked with the trade. "We have not talked about casting at all, so I have no idea who is going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve," she added, referencing the fact there's no word yet on Lindsay Lohan or her successor. Regardless, Banks still thinks this one will be a "blockbuster on TV" for Disney Channel, because Eve will help the world — and...

Remember when Tyra Banks was a doll that turned into a human? Good news: She, or someone else, might do that again! Hollywood Life is freaking out and reporting that Banks's Disney movie Life-Size has a long-overdue sequel in the works. "We have gotten many drafts of scripts, and the one thing I can say is that to the Disney Channel executives, Life-Size is so precious," Banks told the site. It's unclear if Lindsay Lohan will reprise her role as the tomboy with the cool magic kit and the complex ability to love, but one can only hope a faithful time-jump is involved. (Other plot and character details have not been made available yet either.) "[Life-Size is] like their baby," Banks added of the 15-year-old TV-movie, "so they just want it perfect. They keep re-doing it and re-doing it and re-doing the script, and we are in another round of redos, and...

After 20 seasons, one billion nutty contestants (true fact: if laid end to end, they’d stretch all the way to Modelland and back), gallons of haircut-related tears, myriad delightful variations on “I’m not here to make friends,” countless instances of Tyra Banks randomly slipping into one of her four accents (“vaguely British,” “almost French,” “Oprah,” and “daaa-yum, girl!”), and challenges involving roaches, tarantulas, clouds of pheromone-crazed bees, and Fabio, saying “that crazy thing on America’s Next Top Model” is sort of like talking about suicide in Buffalo—it’s redundant.

For a very specific demographic, the ultimate news was just announced: Lindsay Lohan will appear on Watch What Happens Live! The episode will air next Thursday, April 17, EW has confirmed.
“This one is a long time coming. We love Lindsay and plan to celebrate the s@%# out of her!” host/executive producer Andy Cohen told E!.
Fans of the show know this has the potential to be quite the memorable episode. Not only is the live program proudly booze-soaked (a tradition they will obviously (right?) forgo for the evening), but the program’s cheeky charm thrives on Cohen asking the guests just-this-side-of-inappropriate questions.

First, Merlin is cancelled, now EW reports that the third season of Sherlock will be delayed. New episodes aren't expected to air until late 2013 in the U.K. and 2014 on PBS. This isn't a good week for slashwink fans.
The internet has been abuzz about a vlog featuring Two and a Half Men's Angus T. Jones calling his TV series "filth" and asking viewers to stop watching it. When I first saw the headlines, I was ready to cheer Jones, but it turns out he's offended by the show from a religious conservative perspective (he seems to be one of those people who thinks any entertainment that offends them comes directly from Hell's Ministry of Propaganda), and he made his plea on a vlog with a homophobic past.

Now that "Liz & Dick" has come and gone, another Lindsay Lohan TV movie is getting its turn in the spotlight: the 2000 "Wonderful World of Disney" trifle "Life-Size" which also starred Tyra Banks.
Banks will star in and produce the "Life-Size" sequel, which follows the further adventures of her doll-turned-human character Eve, according to Variety.
The project is currently in the script stages and it seems highly unlikely Lohan would be back as well.
The 2000 premiere of "Life-Size" was watched by 13.6 million viewers, which only makes the audience of Lohan's "Liz & Dick" look even less impressive.

For the life of me, I have never been able to figure out Tyra Banks. Is she a really savvy businesswoman and entrepreneur, or an airhead, or a really savvy businesswoman and entrepreneur who acts like an airhead? And if it's the latter... then why? But as you ponder the answer to that question, let me tell you that Disney Channel has confirmed that Banks will, once again, play the role of a Barbie-like doll brought back to life in a sequel to their 2000 TV movie Life-Size. Banks will also exec produce the show, which goes back to what I was talking about. Is she an airhead for playing a vapid role again, or savvy about producing it this time as well? ...

A Lindsay Lohan TV movie is getting a sequel -- and no, it's not her critically-panned turn in Sunday night's "Liz & Dick" (if you missed it, you can catch the Lol moments here)."Life-Size" -- a ABC/Disney made-for-tv film that featured a teen Lindsay and Tyra Banks -- will be returning to the small screen. In the original 2000 film, Lindsay played Casey, whose plastic Eve doll (Tyra Banks) becomes ...you guessed it ... life-size.Tyra will reprise her role as Eve for the sequel, and also executive produce it.The model/mogul tweeted the news Monday, with lyrics from the first film's theme song: "Shine bright, Shine far, Don't be shy, Be a star..." Check out Tyra and Lindsay performing it below:No word yet on whether Lindsay will join the sequel, but seeing as she's slumming in TV movies, why not? The original film drew 13.6 million viewers, 10 million more that "Liz & Dick.

I'm not ashamed to admit that Lindsay Lohan was an important part of my childhood. Though I'm a year older than the child-star-turned-tabloid-mainstay, I grew up watching her.
As many times as my mom told me Hayley Mills' Parent Trap was better, I couldn't get enough of the 1998 installment, starring Lohan as both Annie James and Hallie Parker, separated twins who meet one summer at camp. Eleven-year-old Lohan had charisma, charm and an impressive British accent (at least to 12-year-old me who had yet to travel across the pond). My sister and I learned Annie and Martin's handshake and I started eating Oreos and peanut butter -- "a brilliant beyond brilliant idea." We watched The Parent Trap so many times, our VHS tape no longer worked.
Fourteen years after first being introduced to Lohan in that film, I found myself struggling to sit through Lohan's latest role: Elizabeth Taylor...

Is Lindsay Lohan headed back to TV? The 25-year-old actress may have been bumped from a racy Linda Lovelace biopic, but now she's in talks to play another (less infamous) iconic screen presence on the small screen.
The actress is in early talks to play the late Dame Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming Lifetime biopic "Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story." A source familiar with the negotiations told TheWrap that Lohan is in early conversations about the project.
Lohan actually got her start on the small screen in 1996, starring as a purple-gelatin loving young-in opposite Bill Cosby in a Jello commercial. With a taste of TV on her resume, Lohan got her big break in 1998's "The Parent Trap." Then, she returned to television to star opposite Tyra Banks in the 2000 Disney Channel original movie, "Life-Size," followed by another Disney made-for-tv film, "Get a Clue," in 2002. Don't you miss the days of The Parent Trap? Mean Girls? Life-Size co-starring Tyra Banks? Remember that gem? Those were the days! The days when Lindsay Lohan had her sh*t together. Granted, she was a preteen and most preteens have their lives in order, but still...
Sadly, life's a bitch. Especially for Lindsay Lohan today who was handcuffed in court after a judge revoked her probation. Supposedly she missed too many community service appointments. There is $100,000 bail for Lindsay but obviously she is expected to be released. She is expected back in court on the second of November to figure out if she officially violated probation.
Okay, wait a second, if I was locked up and my bail was $100,000 I would be in the slammer for a Very, Very long time. Wouldn't you? Yea, that's what I thought! Damn you Tina Fey. Maybe if you're Mean Girls movie wasn't...

Tonight, Tyra's seventeenth cycle of America's Next Top Model, the All-Star cycle, premieres on the CW. In this cycle, Tyra will coach her all-stars not only how to model, but how to turn themselves into personal "brands," which includes acting, singing and more. And so it seems all too fitting that today, we look back at a special part of Tyra's journey to becoming a "brand": Playing an actual piece of merchandise in the 2001 Lindsay Lohan vehicle Life-Size.
Life-Size premiered as a made-for-tv movie on The Disney Channel ten years ago. It stars a young, post-Parent Trap Lindsay Lohan as a naive tomboy who tries to use dark magic to bring back her dead mom, and a youngish, pre-America's Next Top Model Tyra Banks as a brainless Barbie doll brought to life by that magic. It is a pinnacle of modern cinema...'s assumption that children are idiots,...
