Masterpiece of Chinese attempt on the famous French novel
zzmale7 January 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is exactly the same as that of the novel and play, The Lady of the Camellia, both written by Alexandre Dumas fil.

Although the performers doesn't look like Occidentals, the movie was a huge success because the same story also played out in China nearly a century after the novel/play were written.
