A great story written by Manoj Kumar,It gives the message to live the life after such hard incidents occurs,A song Ek pyar ka nagma hai is a gem of whole movie,All the actors did their job perfectly, especially legendary actor Manoj Kumar,One of the best movies in Indian History.

An amazing story for its time. A tale of a father and son coping after a tragic accident,and how their misfortunes affect them. This film has one of the most beautiful soundtracks. If only he could hear his son speak again?... A definate tear jerker. A must see!

wonderful story

This is the most wonderful movie i have ever seen. Bollywood or Hollywood cant make a movie better than this. And its not easy to understand this movie for everyone. Only those people who have been cheated in their life and are of tired of 'trying', 'trying' and 'trying' can understand this movie.

Wonderful !

This whole movie shows the struggle between an ordinary human being and his fate. And in the end its eventually human being that wins but fate also wins...

What a story...

An emotional film

Manoj Kumar directed and starred in this 1972 film, the film revolves around the relationship of a mute son and his father. Shor means noises which is emphasised through out the film. Manoj Kumar gives a great performance as the father of the boy, for whom he tries to raise money for his son to have an operation so that he can talk. The ending is emotional and unexpecting. There are many great songs in the film. There is also a bit of romance in the film, the female lead is played by Jaya Badhuri. This is a sad film but it has an excellent story line which makes a change.

Excellent movie made by Manoj Kumar. Exploring human relations and off his trademark,does not have DESHBHAKTI. Ek pyar ka nagma hain, the song belongs to this film. You get what you want but you are not able to enjoy it. The film works on this story line. Premnath, real life friend of Manojkumar is as usual goodies in the film. Nanda looks good and Jaya Bhadudi acts well as usual. Special thanks to laxmikant pyarelal for good music score. Be careful you may weep several times, so better keep a fresh handkerchief with you ! Son of Manojkumar i think in real life they may be, acted well. In short you must watch this movie. To young generation- old movies are slow. But they have a great value of thoughts and emotions. Do watch these movies!
