Violence & Gore

  • During a trial, quartering and boiling the victims in oil is discussed. For comic purposes, another man argues that first they boil them, then quarter them. Being staked out in the sun, covered in honey so that beetles slowly consume them is also brought up. Many sword fights take place - mostly theatrical and no blood is ever seen.

Profanity

  • A few mild words here and there. God's name is taken in vain several times

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • It is decided that the main characters be turned into frogs and a spell is cast over them by an ominous character wearing satanic symbols. He drops dead frogs into a smoking pot with lightening bolts crackling between his hands. None of this is alarming for anyone over ten and the scene is very brief
