- Nightmare Creatures is a horror/beat em up game, it contains combat situations which include blood splatter. In some situations enemies get dismembered or burned to their deaths, if an enemy burns it disolves in black colored ashes. Some enemies like zombies, can be cut in half.
- There are a few parts in the game where the player finds gory/bloody torso's of animals or other creatures which got killed, if you compare it to modern games like Mortal Kombat the gore in Nightmare Creatures could be considered as mild.
