A bit of a gem. Robson Green can be annoying, but in this he pleasantly underplays it, showing a gentler side to his character. The supporting cast rocks (as often happens with Brit dramas) and they get quality dialogue. This could have gotten another season. I wonder why it didn't? The editor deserves a mention as does the writer and the director. It's 22 years old and the pacing is up to modern standards.

Definitely a winner

Love the writing, the direction, the wit, and characters. Subtly intelligent and good character developments all around. Such a nice change to other slow paced and meandering British legal shows. Wish it had gone another season.
