For a short film, this short seems even shorter than usual on content. In fact, the film can be very easily summed up as follows: a guy in Nebraska is plowing the fields and is imagining surfing in paradise. That's it! For seven minutes, you see alternating shots of him plowing or surfing--all set to music consisting of a base guitar. That's it.
Considering that the film's creator, Jason Matthew Moore had only made one other short film, I'll cut him a little slack. As a student project, this is okay. As a film to be seen in other venues, it definitely lacks purpose--anyone can say "I'd rather be in Hawaii than here in the middle of America". I want something more--something compelling.
