Masterpiece

This film is the masterpiece material from k.bhakiyaraj. The way he told that the humanity is the one can beat any religion/caste was awesome. The screenplay, dialogues, lyrics are very good. Must watchable.

Followed his guru

This one is after Vedham Puthitu ... not sure if the discrimination topic was popular in 80s. Baghiyaraj touching this sensitive topic these day (2024) in his style. As always a great screenplay, dialogue and romance in his style.

Got to talk about Shobana, lovely pick. Bhagiyaraj always picked beautiful women from his first to last (yet to watch vetti madichu kattu). She had performed good.

He did music too, not bad i should say.

Climax dialogue is worth a mention, no veda talks about discrimination he says after reading them. Only somebody later created to their benefits, if only people understand that world will be peaceful.

Worst topic to take up
asicengineer13 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Just like every director who's going through a tough time, the simplest topic they can take up and beat around the bush and get money, Mr. Bhagyaraj has also taken up the brahmin hatred topic back in 1988 and made sure that he has come up with a movie. When i see it in 2023 now, i see that "Tamizhan muzhuchikittan about brahmin hatred" topic and wherein brahmin women will also love non-brahmin men. When, the brahmin father has thrown his daughter away from home, why would he even care about what they do? Be it going around and making sure that they don't live it ? It seems ridiculous now when i watch it in 2023.
