There's a Reason this game has sold over 12 million copies.

Since GTA III, The gta series had jumped into the mainstream. it had a great 3rd person view and a great in-depth storyline. bottom line, it was straight up fun. but one year later, the series was rather brought back, but not in the department of fun, and awesomeness, but rather, in time.

Set in vice city, a fictional Miami in 1986, Tommy Vercetti is sent from Liberty city, a Fictional New York, by his mob boss, Sonny Forelli. He is set up in a drug trade and loses all his cash. Sonny is now mad with him, and it seems the whole world is out to get him. his plan? Take over Vice City.

This Game makes several different references to many different events of the time. It emulates the movie Scarface almost completely, with the exception of the outcome of Tommy Vercetti. it also poses several references to Miami Vice, a TV show at the time. For music, there are different stations to listen to, From Reggae to talk radio, to what might be the best Radio station of all time...V-rock.

Bottom line, if you want to play a good game, want to have fun, or just jump back to the 80s for a nostalgic feeling, I say GTA: Vice city is the way to go.

Rockstar's Masterpiece

"Vice City", now you're talking about something really special. As a sequel, it builds on and refines "GTA III" in every single way. More vehicles, massive replay value and even more inviting sense of freedom. What they created here was a living, breathing proxy of South Florida, a pastel '80s drenched world that was as fun to explore as it was to mock. I have spent countless hours (over the last 13 years) revisiting and plunging into this game. It's got "Miami Vice" written all over it and the sense of humor's light-hearted but pointedly satirical (back in the earlier days when their ribbing was fun but not overly cynical - I'm looking at you, "V"). And then there's that soundtrack! The heavy hitters they've got playing on the radio stations in this game are admirable, and it's wholly addicting. It's a big part of what makes this environment so fun.

No pretense of objectivity here. This might just be the greatest console game I've ever played. My love for this will never die.

one of the most addictive games ever created
Quinoa198417 June 2008
I usually don't comment on many video games on this site, but even after the fact of it being six years since this game has been in existence (and since then other GTA games, most notably recently GTA 4 for the new consoles, have come to fruition) I must make this about as high as a recommendation as I possibly can. It's the ultimate in fun, wild run-amock games, while also being fantastic as an RPG. You run missions as the Ray Liotta character, you move on up in the gangster world, and it gets more fun (and more challenging) the further you go along. Or, if you're not in the mood for a run, let your own personal psychological 'Id' go insane: one of the pleasures of the game is that it's exciting in a social setting, with a bunch of friends taking turns while pummeling the crap out of their cars, killing as many civilians (or cops) as possible before the star rating goes sky high, and just doing nonsense like gunning down gangs in malls and listening to corny 80s pop and new-wave.

Great cast, superb design, wonderful story (if one can call it that), and you've got a game that's about as fulfilling as the best chocolate you've ever eaten: you want to put it down, but why carp?

The Game

GTA: VC is nothing short of a masterpiece. The cast, the theme, the play. It all fits so well, the closest a game has come to being a complete life replacement. I had only played this in limited amounts when it first came out and wasn't really hooked, I then bought San Andreas for PS2 and decided to back track to Vice City for PC. Low and behold it contains an aura that San ADreas does not. The soundtrack fits the game like a glove, the map is quiet a lot like Miami and the fashions and vehicles available just made it near perfect. One thing different from San Adnreas is that Tommy Vercetti is a winner, he is respected, whereas Carl in San Andreas is always battling for it for some reason, Tommy just seems to be a tougher character, and his rise and rise throughout the game confirms this.

I guess there is a fault with this game, it came to an end, eventual I suppose, but it did not look open for a sequel, perhaps Rockstar can throw us back to the 70's?, imagine it, GTA: San Francisco

The New Era came with GTA III and this one is completed.

This game deserves even more than 10 points and how did you rated nine?

As I sad at my GTA: SA review... Every GTA game is the biggest game of its time. And it is just clear. They gave us a gloomy Liberty City game first, GTA III. And after that they gave us a bright Miami. I think this is just like the connection between GTA IV and GTA V. At the GTA IV the game is evolved too much and it is real big game but I think GTA III and GTA IV has their own cons. They are finishing the game at the continue games. As I sad first they did GTA III and it has cons but they've solved at Vice City and GTA IV has cons but they've solved at GTA V. Now I don't think GTA VI will have cons. They now how to make a game now. The GTA games are really biggest games ever.

For my money this was the best Grand Theft Auto.
Aaron137521 March 2011
I want to say first off that I never played part four of the series. I also never played the PSP games either on the PSP or when they were converted over for the PS2. I have played this one, part three and San Andreas. Of those three I enjoyed part three a whole lot, which is why I bought the other two. San Andreas had some good elements, but overall I just got the feeling of being completely overwhelmed in that one. I just could not enjoy it because while I was doing one thing other things kept popping up such as the time I am in the middle of a gang fight for territory and a message pops up saying my girlfriend feels neglected. This one was the perfect blend and totally cool setting as this one takes place in a Miami type city, great music as I loved almost all the radio stations and cool characters and things to do. Heck, in this one I enjoyed just doing cab missions, taking people here and there while listening to the music on the radio. The story is typical, as your guy has to take care of a lot of things and do missions for various people and like I said even if you do not touch the missions this one is fun as it is just interesting exploring Vice City. Granted, Liberty City was fun to explore too, I just like the setting, the time period, and just about everything in this one. Though I did win part three, never won this one, got close, but there was a glitch that apparently if you did not do the missions involving the printing press it somehow negated the final mission. Still, it was an overall awesome game. One thing the first one did a bit better was the weapons as I did not care for the only being able to carry a certain number of weapons, but that is one of the few complaints I had. I just enjoy this one, roaming the beach on a dune buggy, running over the occasional person and then evading the law. Just great, as was going to each building and checking out the pools and the guests of the hotels. You can even go into the local mall, fly a helicopter, and ride a motorcycle. Lots to do and you can have a lot of fun doing it.

Took a long time...

This game took a long time to grow on me. I really hated it when it first come out. Then I got it and played it a bit and thought the realism of the game was absolutely amazing. Then I started to play the missions and got wrapped in the story and now I'm hooked. The Main character is different compared to the usual good guys. A very great game with limitless possibilities.

Perfect Game
kaimoney21 May 2020
Grand Theft Auto is awesome in general, but I mostly love this one. It's full of fun action, the missions can be challenging but in a good way, and cause havoc around the city. This game is definitely a game you would want to play!

The pinnacle of video game badassery and entertainment.
KeyC0de5 January 2018
The year is 1986 - the 80s. You are Tommy Vercetti, an ex convict released from Liberty city (R*'s fictional version of New York city) prison after serving a fifteen-year sentence. His boss Sonny Forelli promotes him to a higher rank in his crime business and sets him loose in Vice City (R*'s fictional version of Miami, Florida). Tommy is instructed to participate in a cocaine deal and see that everything goes according to plan. Unfortunately for him, it all goes to shit when unknown mobsters start firing mid-cocaine-exchange and all hell breaks loose; the job fails. Tommy and his crooked lawyer Ken Rosenberg barely escape intact. After reluctantly explaining the mess to Sonny, they try to find out who "stole the money!". They devise plans and get to know Vice City's criminal underworld, make contact with the biggest players in the city and extract information.

From then onwards Vice City is your sandbox and you can do pretty much everything you can imagine. You can progress the story, you can dance at night clubs, you can do stunt driving. You can drive a variety of cars, motorcycles, helicopters (even drones! later in the game) or you can massacre everyone and the US army itself will hunt you down (this would be the perfect opportunity to grab "Rhino" - an army tank - if you can). Progressing the story unlocks new abilities and areas in the game; the in-game radio tracks your progress with news reporting. There are multiple side quests you can partake in. Vice City felt like a breathing city at the time of release. The developers have done a PERFECT job in capturing the essence of 80s Miami 100% American (at least how it's portrayed in movies etc), the architecture, the lights, the music, the neon lens flares, the pink touch in everything, the sun. It's all there. The game's style is a clear mix of 80s Miami Vice, with the greatest inspiration from the 1984 movie Scarface, coupled with a satiric, but realistic nonetheless struggle for the American dream. The map/game world is big enough for you to explore and find many unique secret locations. There are multiple interiors, like shops, cafeterias, purchasable safe houses, hotels, night clubs, hospitals, police stations and more, even a HUGE mall! There are dozens of different guns and tools you can use in the game, from handguns and meat cleavers (my then personal favorite) to miniguns and missile launchers. There are a bunch of miscellaneous things to do, and I won't try to list them all in fear of leaving something behind. Those mentioned already should be enough to hook you up for the ride of your life.

Everything in this game is perfect. The mature story rivals that of the best movies. You meet plenty of complex and deep characters along the way leading you on the path to the top of the Vice City. Those characters develop fully as you progress. If you play as a kid you won't understand why you're doing what you're doing, you'll just enjoy doing it and have a good time. And of course none can talk about Vice City without mentioning the music. The music includes fictional, hand-crafted radio stations, complete with radio hosts that talk & feel completely in the mood and interacting on the multiple game's current events as the plot unfolds. Make sure you check them all out. The songs for the various stations couldn't have been selected more meticulously. Finally, visuals and Graphics are top notch. For it's time VC was a technical achievement (not as groundbreaking as GTA 3 though). Also, I don't even remember experiencing any major bugs at all, although I've heard of a couple.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City is my second favorite video game of all time. This game was the reason I bought a PS2. Suffice to say that I played it to death. While I was playing the game nothing else mattered in the world. I was Tony, a super badass crook doing as I please, basically just chillin, riding n' killin. I remember back then almost every friend of mine was playing it for years to come. Me and my friends were visiting each other's houses to play together. To this day, those are one of the fondest memories I have of my childhood. Overall, the amount of laughs that have come from this game is unmeasurable. I am grateful for them and will treasure them forever. Vice City remains my favorite GTA game. You could argue that before Vice City I had pretty much no taste, no personality (especially in music). Afterwards I was a new person, with new experiences. VC was a controversial game, because it allows anyone to commit extremely violent stuff and have a laugh at it. I was ~11 years old when I first played the game and I never once thought that I could do stuff like that in real life, in fact I was more prone to be opposed such violent behaviors than many other people I've met (and I'm old enough now - in my late 20s - to know what I'm talking about). I just felt cooler at times, particularly seeing how Tommy Vercetti talks & walks. In Vice City the World is yours.

The Benchmark of all Sandbox games
mwestern11 January 2012
This is by far the best sandbox game ever produced. For its time it was revolutionary in so many ways. Grand Theft Auto/Rockstar has continued to set the high water mark in this type of game and other producers have taken their cue from them.

Graphics: While now these graphics are not as sharp as the current run of sandbox/first person shooters. At the time, it was the top of its class. Even today the experience is fantastic and my first trip to Miami left me saying, "I have been here before." 10/10

Sound: the music and radio programs are absolutely second to none. Ambient sound is fantastic and one of the highlights for me was the sound of shells hitting the ground as I shot of the streets of Vice City. In addition, the voice work was unlike anything before or since with a star packed lineup of actors that truly added to the overall experience. 10/10

Controls: the controls for this game are very good. Improvements in later editions such as GTA:SA addressed the minor limitations for the controls in the game play. 9/10

Story: while a couple of the missions are a little far-fetched, they are entertaining and don't feel repetitive. The overall storyline is engrossing and demands repeat play. As mentioned above, the voice acting truly gets the player into a situation in which they feel like they are a part of the game. I was Tommy Verceti. 10/10

Gameplay: With the minor issues in controls and the inability to enter the water without dying, the game play did need some tweaking which was handled in later versions. This however, did not take away from the overall experience which was excellent and addictive. This was a resounding 10/10.

An Honest Review
generationofswine4 November 2020
It looked better than San Andreas.... and that is really because of the 80s Miami Vice feel to it. The colors popped more, the setting had a beauty to it....

... a beauty that you could taint by taking a golf cart into a mall and killing everyone in sight all with a score straight out of the 80s and a talk radio station that was just hysterical.

And... motorcycles, the introduction of motorcycles into the GTA franchise, let's not forget that. Sure, you can't pick up a prostitute on one and the accidents are far more lethal, but motorcycles opened up a whole new level of fun as you tooled around trying to pop 99 red balloons, delivering pizzas, and causing complete and utter chaos.

18 years later, Vice City and the 80s is something the GTA franchise needs to revisit, not for the sake of nostalgia, but for the simple fact that it was cool, it was colorful, it was the GTA game that still stands out above the rest.

Too few features, could have been better, but fairly entertaining overall
TBJCSKCNRRQTreviews6 November 2004
First of all, I haven't really tried playing Grand Theft Auto III, so if anything I say is good or new in this review is also in GTA III, you know why. I have the PC version of the game, so if something I say is a good feature and you don't have it on your console version of the game, yep, once again, you already know the reason. The game is pretty good, but has much too few features compared to how far it has gotten(time-wise as well as compared to the technological achievements within the field of video games) since the release of the first Grand Theft Auto(which is basically the only game in the series that I have played). If you hit water, you still drown(if you are far enough out, of course), no matter what water it is. No swimming, no getting out of the car in the nick of time to get the less than two meters back onto the shore... you just die. And saving can only take place at designated locations, which you'll only get more of when you get further in the game. Sorry, but a game that is this darned difficult should offer saving at all times. You can shoot out the front window of any car, but it's rarely possible to shoot the driver, which really renders this an utterly useless feature. Also, to my knowledge, it's impossible to shoot out any of the other windows; that's just laziness, if you ask me. You can shoot any car to pieces, but there's not one particular 'zone' you can aim for... you just shoot all over the car, and it'll explode once it has taken enough bullets. Once again, lazy. How about giving us a little zone to aim for, near the engine, for instance, that when hit once or twice will cause the car to explode. You can shoot out the tires, and this is one of the features that are really cool. If the cops are on your tail, if you can feel the heat breathing down your neck, just pull out a fast and/or accurate gun, aim for one of the tires in the nearest cop car, and watch them skid off the road. For maximum enjoyment, take out two or more tires and engage in a high-speed chase through town. They won't be able to drive properly. Like the original GTA, it's very entertaining to go nuts and get as many cops to chase you as possible. This time, you get SWAT, FBI, even the military after you. I'm not kidding, we're talking tanks and armed choppers. I don't believe there is anything quite as satisfying in this game as shooting down a chopper with one well-placed shot from the bazooka. The weapons are pretty good, but I think it sucks that you are often forced to change a weapon when you take on a mission, and you have to get your weapons back by buying them somewhere or finding it in town somewhere. Why not give the player an armory accessible through all of the safe-houses? The way you have to work your way through most of the city for so many of the benefits seems like a lame way of getting the player to be on the move a lot(it's a game of fast cars which lets you drive as fast as the car can go... finding ways of encouraging players to drive around a lot really shouldn't be that tough a feat). The story is pretty good, but much of it is dull and bland. The voice acting is all good. I thoroughly enjoyed running around as a character voiced by Ray Liotta(and the in-jokes were a nice touch). The missions are good, at times... at other times, they are overly hard and frustrating. There were at least two missions that I had to cheat my way through... and believe me, I *hate* cheating. I was just so tired of losing constantly, I gave up and gave in. All in all, the game is fairly entertaining, but it just lacks too many features. The MP3 Player 'radio station' is nice, but it doesn't add enough. How about a properly integrated MP3 Player in the game, where you can listen to that specific track you want to listen to? Shooting whilst driving is fun, but why only allow one class of weapon(the SMG, or Sub Machine Gun) to be used for it? And there's no way to aim or predict where the shots will go. I'm not saying you should have perfect aim whilst driving at high speeds and using one hand to steer, but just a hint of a control feature would be nice. Also, you can only fire to either side, and, if on a bike, forward. How about a feature where the car is either driven for you, and you can shoot anywhere you want out of the side window, or you drive it whilst someone(maybe the helper could be hired? Money are easy enough to come by in the game) else shoots, a la Enter the Matrix. I'm by no means a car guy, yet I very much enjoyed those parts of that game, in spite of how widely recognized the fact of them being less than perfectly done(or even completed all the way) is. The humor, mostly, did just not work for me. It felt more about throwing stereotypes and "offensive" material at the gamer than actually being entertaining. Like someone with no talent trying to do South Park style comedy. I recommend this to fans of car/action games, but definitely not to fans of shooting games(as the shooting sucks hard, compared to just about every other game that involves shooting, if not for completely sure). Just don't expect to be that entertained, as the game is, unfortunately, not unlike Postal 2 and a few other recent games, geared more towards being as politically incorrect as possible, rather than entertain. 7/10

It's pretty fun, but...
sinisterdrecc8828 March 2009
Vice City is the GTA game made after Grand Theft Auto 3, and it's not the best one. The main character is one of the coolest in the series, but I really dislike it for two reasons. One, the city is too small. I end up wandering the same areas over and over again, which gets boring even when you are driving or shooting people. Second, this game's graphics aren't as good. The textures are kind of blocky, and I noticed some ghosting on my copy of it (it happens very rarely, though). So actually, even though I gave GTA 3 and Vice City the same score, I technically like GTA 3 better, since the city isn't really small in that one and it's just more fun overall.

Welcome to Vice City folks!
Angel_Meiru9 July 2004
Grand Theft Auto Vice City was waited for and well worth it.When I had bought this game I could not put it down. I just put my GTA3 on the shelf for a bit, because I'm not going to finish it right away as I have Vice City. This game has everything in GTA3 and more. You can pick up prostitutes , steal cars , kill people , and smash up cars/people. Now... who wouldn't have fun doing that!?

New features : This has actually come quite a way from GTA3. Instead of looking like the man from Rock Star's other title ''Max Payne'' you have your own look and attire. You're own attitude. Hell, you even have a face and a voice! Much different from GTA3 where you a faceless speechless tool , you will be very angry and arrogant (besides there are cheat codes to help you become other characters too!). There is about 50 different weapons in Grand Theft Auto Vice City.(including knives , bats , golf clubs chain saws , katanas , and glocks , machine guns , and explosives. Nearly 200 vehicles including the rumored motorcycle and helicopter. Also you know when you didn't start the fighting in Grand Theft Auto and the cops still arrested/shot you? Well In Vice City the cops will attack the real villain , and if you help the cops catch the villain you will be awarded with money for good citizen award. This also applies if you are being chased by cops (about 3-4 stars on wanted level), some citizens will go kama-kaze and attack you.

Another new feature that occurs is when you are being attacked by police they will shoot out your tires to make you slow down or crash , and also when having a high wanted level Police will drop down the helicopter from above. Also instead of having to stay at garages and alleys like in Grand Theft Auto 3 , in Vice City you have the ability to buy houses and apartments to stay and save your game at. Seeing as you can go into many buildings in the game , there is many stores and a mall where you can buy weapons such as grenades , machetes , knives , and also you can buy tools such as screwdrivers and hammers. Many other side missions such as Vigilante mode , Paramedic (with the ambulance) , Taxi driver (with the taxi and the zebra taxi) , and Pizza Boy (which IMO is very hard) , and fireman (with the fire truck) are offered in Vice City. Vehicles that include vigilante mode are the police cars , fbi cars , enforcers , boats , and the The Rhino .(the tank)

And of course, you get to re-live the 1980's with energetic music and colourful images.

I recommend this game to all you adults and older teens that have a sense a humor, or those whom CAN ACTUALLY tell fantasy from reality.

The best game ever...
anchorinnmd19 October 2002
This game is by far the best I've seen so far!You can go into night clubs, buy your own clothes, have an unlimited supply of weapons, buy your own cars and boats. And the best part is, there is an actual plot in this game and your character has a name and personality. The soundtrack is great, it features Micheal Jackson and Judas Priest. Too bad they could not get in the Scarface tunes(She's on Fire, Push it to the Limit), either way, I suggest you get it now because, you will not regret it!!!

my best game
kavishpurani6 June 2015
This is the best game that I've ever seen. This game is amazing. This is the best game of the GTA series. The missions of vice city for Tommy Vercetti are excellent. There are 15 properties in the vice city. There are 35 rampage missions in the vice city. There are 100 hidden packages in the vice city. There are also some 36 unique insane jump's missions in the vice city. We can do some wheelies too. We can also made cash by being a taxi driver or we can save some peoples in vice city by the hospital's ambulance. We've to complete assassination contracts. We've to complete some races of different types, too. We shall buy the total 15 properties in the vice city.

Very good game!
Illyngophobia4 August 2012
I must have gotten my PS2 when I was in the 3rd or so grade, and this was one of the first games I remember playing aside from Spyro and a cluster of Simpsons related video games. Mature games for a 9 year old? That's almost unheard of! But when I played I remember being so entranced by the impressive 80s soundtrack and if it wasn't that, then the comedy of the radio station VCPR (to where I remember spending hours just having that radio station on just to hear the talk show) more than the missions with the game. But that's not to say they weren't good or appealing.

As I got older, I was more interested in the missions and all the twists than I was making fun of Maurice Chavez's guests. The missions are fun, getting points for extreme stunts was amazing and exploring the area was always a blast.

Vice City is, and always will be, my favorite GTA game.

Violence is fun.
sashank_kini-15 March 2008
I ain't an avid fan of action/shooter games. I would prefer to play calmer games rather that many great shooter games. But GTA games are one of the brutal, violent games that gets me hooked once I insert the plug of my PS2 into my cable.

Vice City is one hell of a ride. You are served with guns, girls and dollops of fun. Once I sit for play, I get connected to the game and play it persistently. This game is totally awesome!

The main attractions of the game:

1) Unfathomably huge and detailed: Vice City is huge with intricate details of all buildings, etc. It is so vast that you would not even have visited some places towards the end of the game. The houses are placed so perfectly and with such variations that you don't feel monotonous of watching the houses of same size, pattern etc.

2) Wise cracks: This game has some of the best running gags any game would have. The filmmaker is so funny and many of the characters make you burst out laughing. This game has even ridiculed some personalities, companies etc.

3) Missions: Even though the number of main missions would seem less at first, but the length and size of the missions, the sub-missions and zillions of other things to do make you play this game for a long, long time.

4) Fun: Its so much fun to shoot. Target and shoot. Having more than 3 dozens of weapons, you would love to blow off your foes or anyone practically!

5) Babes: One of the hottest girls can be found in the game. Extremely sizzling. Its fun to watch them for a while when you aren't in a mood to do anything.

6) Assortment: This game has tons to do. But it isn't as repetitive as Spiderman 2 at all. The perennial side missions of the latter would bug you to death. But this has a balance of everything.

7) Quick loads: Loading is quick in this game and you don't have to wait for long for the mission to start.

This game, like any other game, has its share of cons:

1) Targeting is poor and cumber stone. Sometimes you target dead victims/enemies. That's somewhat irritating, especially when you're in the middle of a hard mission.

2) Moderate graphics: Even though the city is detailed, the graphics aren't extraordinary. In fact they're just about okay.

3) No Quick trip: Unlike San, you don't have Quick Trip to skip unnecessary traveling etc.

4) I wish that they had a gym like in San. I mean to say, when you get a bit irritated collecting Hidden packages etc, you could just work out in a gym.

Overall, it is one of the best games made yet. I found San better than this but nevertheless, its a great game meant not for everyone!

Very Good Violent Game
h_wilson9221 December 2008
This is a very good video game.My brother owns it and I have played it a couple of times. It is very hard to play but once you get the hang of it it is really easy.I love this game cos it has violence,a lot of profanity such as the extensive use of the word f**k, the soundtrack is good to it as you get to pick the radio station.I am not a GTA fan but I do like this video game. There is hardly anyone that I know that loves violence like me in video games that hasn't got a copy of this game. The violence is really superior and I prefer violent games to non violent games.

10/10 is my rating for this very good must own video game.If you don't have it chances are that your brother has it and you should play it

Excellent Video Game
gangstahippie11 July 2006
Rated M for Strong Violence,Blood,Sexual Content,Drug Use and Language.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City is the fifth installment in the Grand Theft Auto series of video games.I did not play Grand Theft Auto when the series started going big in 2001 with the release of Grand Theft Auto 3.I got Vice City for Christmas last year and I instantly loved the game. The controls take a little bit getting used to but after that the game is pure fun. This game is definitely not as good as San Andreas but unlike San Andreas this game does not have extremely hard missions that are a pain in the butt to complete. The graphics in Vice City are a bit better than the ones in San Andreas also. The game is about a criminal released from prison named Tommy Vercetti who during the game takes over Vice City with the help of his friends. He does various missions from flying a toy helicopter with bombs into a building to dropping off a girl to murdering people. The plot is sort of like Scarface. There are actually two parts to the story. The first part is about Tommy Vercetti trying to find out who took his money and drugs during the drug deal gone wrong while Lance tries to find out who killed his brother.THe second part is about Tommy getting people to pay protection money, buying assets like clubs and company's and worrying about his former boss Sonny. This game is fairly short.Despite all the missions you have to do I beat the game in three days(the third time I played it).The game takes place in 1986 so there are a bunch of popular 80s singers singing famous 80's songs on the radio stations. There are many good cars and weapons in the game and even if you have played San Andreas you should like this game.

Upgrade in graphics does no help. A boring game is still a boring game
ThunderKing617 February 2022
About: A lunatic causing havoc in Vice City aka Miami.

Story: Very boring. Characters are cardboard. Like Amazon cardboard that you see on recycling day outside.

Production: Upgrade doesn't help. It's a horrible game with bad graphics and gameplay.

Main intelligence: 5

Unworthiness level: 4.

Should you play this game?: No. It's a waste of time. Unless you like blocky, slow gameplay then go ahead and enjoy. I can pull the "time card" and say "this game didn't age well" however I won't. This game exist in its state and I will judge it by what I just experienced.

Let's be perfectly honest, Rockstar's game changer was GTA 4. MOST anything before was rubbish.

Whoa
Derache6 January 2019
It is an okay game with game play and graphics are both really lack luster. I find the characters and story to be pretty forgettable and I did not enjoy this GTA game.
