Kidnapped couple dig their way to escape and get chased back home where cops are waiting.

This was described on the IMDB as being a comedy, but the reel I saw had few jokes or gags.... (action starts right after opening credits so I presume some footage is missing) A girl has been kidnapped by members of "the black hand," a boy tries to rescue her but is also caught and the two are held in a shack near the beach. The couple uses a pickaxe to remove the flooring and escape but are soon followed by the two kidnappers who chase them back home where the father has called the police and the cops grab the kidnappers just outside the front porch. The police lead the criminals away and the father pulls out an envelope he found in the door jamb that describes a plot/scenario the boy was hoping to sell to him. The father pays him and the girl indicates that now since she has been rescued the boy can collect his kiss. The End. Viewed by LS 4/21/2018.
