A Very Well Made Series
bartlett17 July 2004
This series of science educational films from the late 80's and early 90's provides a truly remarkable insight into the the world of chemistry via clear explanation of the mechanisms involved together with demonstrations. The material is useful to a very broad spectrum of viewers - from college level to even elementary school level. Shows the subject together with associated physical principles in real world situations. Though some of the analytical equipment used in the labs is somewhat dated by modern standards, the science is timeless of course. Well worth watching, particularly with your kids. Often shown on Public Broadcasting Service PBS-U Produced by the Annenberg-CPB/PBS group.
