A highly special moment for Capital Inicial and their fans

One of the greatest unplugged entries from MTV Brazil, the one with Capital Inicial deserves a salute since it brought the famous 1980's Brasília rock group back to surface in a spectacular fashion, gave a new life to them which secured them with new hits during the 2000's, with the great album "Rosas e Vinho Tinto" being my introduction to then in 2002 and at the time the singles from the unplugged were being heavily played everywhere so you couldn't miss them at the time.

Dinho Ouro Preto, Flávio Lemos, Fê Lemos and Loro Jones (at the time with the band, then he left and Yves Passarel joined as guitarist), along with Kiko Zambianchi (who stays during the entire act), producer Marcelo Sussekind and guest Zélia Duncan perform the group's greatest hits and it's a very comprehensible setlist given to audiences to fully embrace Capital's songs and moments. Nothing's missing, actually, though I'd love to see an acoustic version for "Todos os Lados". But the key songs are all there, some were benefitted with the format and became the versions that most people are familiar rather than the original (as with "Independência" whose original version is an electrifying song with heavy keyboards while this one is more relaxed and allows you to interpret the lyrics), others lose a little bit of feeling such as "Música Urbana" or "Fátima", or a little shortened as "Cai a Noite" (I don't know why Dinho doesn't sing the final verse).

The group delivered a great performance and the making of from it shows the fine level of enthusiasm they had with the project, with some funny moments with Loro. In all honesty, if it wasn't for this unplugged it'd take some time to discover them since they're moment of success came a little before my time. A highly great suggestion for fans and beginners in discovering Capital Inicial. 9/10.
