A traditional Hollywood film in an independent movie
TaBobo24 June 2004
I saw this movie at the San Diego Film Festival. For a small independent film it had many pleasantries. The acting was above average, the pacing was smooth, the story well told. The filmmakers seamed to make a lot of use with all the characters that are constantly introduced. My only quip was that the film really followed the traditional stylings of bigger budget films, instead of allowing itself to take the chances that only independent filmmakers can get away with. It was a traditional Hollywood type story told in an independent film budget. With lesser known, yet talented, actors in the roles you could picture some of Hollywood's brightest playing.
