You Shall Make Button-Holes for No Man But I!
boblipton7 July 2017
Madge Kirby refuses Walter Coyle's advances. This incites him to chain her in an upstairs room and turn on the water. Fortunately, Clarence Barr is on hand to phone the police, who start on their way. They even show up, eventually.

Dell Henderson's split-reel comedy for Biograph shows that some one at that firm understood what Mack Sennett had been going on about for four years at the company, before he left for Keystone and control of his own films. While the imitation Keystone Kops are good at their comedic jobs, and the farcical handling of of the melodramatic cliff-hanger is good, the editing is only competent for the era and, compared to Keyston's, dull.

If you wish to look at this comedy for yourself, it has been posted to the Eye Institute site on YouTube.
