3D doesn't always mean better...

If you've played previous Roller-coaster Tycoon games, you might know that the old format was a 2D design, and limited ways of viewing your park. Well, (some how I found it) I bought it a few days ago, and was anxious to try out the new CoasterCam and see the 3D graphics. But, it took a long time to load a park, and it's really hard to control at first, even if you've played the other installments. It took me 10 minutes to get to CoasterCam, and even longer to discover how to create a roller-coaster. It is the only game I had to use a Tutorial for! (on PC, that is)

Your first idea will maybe be to start with Vanilla Hills, and ride the Tumbler, but I say start with sandbox. In Sandbox, you get unlimited funds, so you can build everything, but not everything is available. You can also start the Tutorial, cause finding stuff like Pre-Made coasters is hard. Remember those tabs when you picked the park you wanted that told you difficulty? That's gone, you pick out of a small 18 parks, but you can do each one (except 17 and 18) with different difficulties. Once you beat Beginner, you go up a level, and finally to Tycoon. It's a good idea, and will keep you focused on one park for a while.

The CoasterCam is really cool! You can ride rides, coasters, and...rides! But, it's hard to change your view around, and sometimes while on it, you'll be warped into someones head, and you turn around to realize your sitting on someone. And your coasters are not smooth at all! It's a bumpy ride! And...after a while, you really don't care anymore.

The game works like the last one, and themes are easy to follow, for you can get specific rides for themes. But a lot is lagging, and maybe a expansion will fix that up.

Yes It Is.

To the last person, do you not have eyes?? This is most probably the best roller-coaster simulation ever made. Open your eyes and play this again. A must buy and a must play, the original game is followed by expansion packs Wild! and Soaked! Which make the game even more of a delight, and it's not just rollercoasters, there's normal rides, water slides and amazing scenery. Explore Jurassic land, build a Hawaiian paradise or maybe just build your heart's content. Whatever game your into, you will be surprised that you just cannot take your eyes off of the stunning gameplay and the amazing 3D graphics. Believe me, you won't be able to stop playing.

best PC game i have ever played!!

RCT3 is definitely the game for theme park addicts like myself or general roller coaster lovers. The game offers the player so many different options, whether it is to complete loads of different scenarios with restricted cash or to go wild in sandbox mode where you can build to your heart's content. My preference is to play on sandbox mode as it provides unlimited enjoyment, and there is always something extra that the player can add. A perfectionist's paradise!! The choice of attractions is also astounding!! You can choose from a huge array of roller coasters, thrill rides, junior rides, water rides and any other ride you can think of! You can also theme your rides and parks to match your favourite styles. Best of all, in my opinion, is the ability to ride your creations with the new coaster cam! This lets the player know exactly what it feels like to ride the coaster that they have just built, it gives them an idea of the speed and intensity of the ride.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 is a game not to be missed. Whether you like roller coasters or not, this game is something you are bound to enjoy for ever!

This is the game that got me into becoming a huge fan of rollercoasters, this game rocks! And even though the game is 17 years old, I still love it! This game always had me playing for hours and hours, and I wouldnt even bother checking the time, since it was so addictive, and it still is to me.
