Surreal,bizarre and often repulsive.
HumanoidOfFlesh15 February 2006
Directed by Japanese underground legend Yoshihiko Matsui, most famous for his epic film "Noisy Requiem",and his early work with maverick Japanese director Sogo Ishii,"Pig Chicken Suicide" is a veritable assault on the senses, mixing violent images of animal butchery, racial strife and surrealism to tell the story of two Koreans living in Japan, who's love is destroyed due to overwhelming racial discrimination. This seriously bizarre and demented film tells the story of a weird guy,who thinks that he's a chicken and works in a slaughterhouse. He eats dirt, walks like a chicken and masturbates whilst seeing Japanese woman touching herself. "Pig Chicken Suicide" is a gross art-house Japanese piece of sleaze that is as dirty as they come.I enjoyed this demented little flick and you should too,if you like surreal and off-beat cinema.Check it out in pair with Thierry Zeno's "Wedding Trough" for some wonderful sickness.7 out of 10.

Complete And Absolute Nonsense!!!!

Look I'm a fan of avant-garde cinema as much as the next fart sniffer art house fan, but this is absolute nonsense. Just random stupidity and senseless animal killings thrown at you with no real narrative. If there's something that was supposed to be said here I definitely missed the point. This is just garbage $2 cinema that looks like some bad public access garbage from the 70's. Trust me unless your on a mission to watch the most obscure art films to watch avoid this absolute garbage!
