Previsualization (2005)
*** (out of 4)
Interesting and entertaining featurette that shows some behind-the-scenes look at Steven Spielberg's WAR OF THE WORLDS. Spielberg talks about the computer animation that was used before the actual filming, which allowed him to get a better idea of what he wanted in the actual film. He talks about being able to put the visuals on a camera and see what could or would work before getting on the set and filming. He also talks about how he could show his actors these scenes so that they'd have a better idea of what they were "acting" against. Overall this is another entertaining featurette that gives one a fun look at what goes on in these small offices before the film actually shoots. It was fun seeing Spielberg early in the morning getting to work and it was also great getting to see how this stuff is brought to life.
