Lynne Kresge : Well, I'm not sure what you think I can do about that
Sherry Palmer : Then why don't you just tell me what his doing about Stanton?
Lynne Kresge : He hasn't let me in on it yet, so I don't know what's been decided
Sherry Palmer : Well, can't you find out?
Lynne Kresge : [Sternly] if the President wanted input from either one of us I'm sure he would let us know
Sherry Palmer : Look, you took credit on my work on David's speech and that was ok. I was fine with that but right now my "only" interest is to help David get through this day, now I assume that's priority as well?
Lynne Kresge : I'll see what I can do

President David Palmer : [Before Lynn leaves] no, I'll take it
President David Palmer : [Picking up the phone] yes what is it?
Sherry Palmer : Oh thank God, I was just wondering what you decided to do about Roger
President David Palmer : I'm having him questioned
Sherry Palmer : Well, has he admitted to having Jack Bauer's plane shot down?
President David Palmer : What is your point?
Sherry Palmer : My point is I think you should have waited for something more concrete
President David Palmer : I don't run my decisions past you: not anymore
Sherry Palmer : A large part of the intelligence you're basing your decisions on came from me. I think I've earned a seat at the table
President David Palmer : You're not a member of my staff. You're not a government employee, and you're not my wife
Sherry Palmer : That was your decision. Not mine
