Tony & Michelle & Jack & Paul
ccthemovieman-119 August 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Well, we start off with the shocker, which pertains to "Tony Almeida" (Carlos Bernard) and his ex-wife "Michelle" (Reiko Aylesworth) a regular on last year's show. It's always good to see Reiko back, even if it's a short stay.

Plus, it's another way for the show's writers to continue some personal stories along with all the tension and action of battling terrorists non-stop. It helps to balance the show and supposedly, it helps with the ratings by getting more female viewers to watch.

The big action scene is Jack and Paul trying to get out the the Rockland Buidliing, headquarters for McLennan-Forster, and then making a stand at a sporting goods store nearby. Even more important is some encrypted code they were able to obtain. McLenna-Forster execs, who hire professional hit men, want that as badly as the C.T.U. so many people are headed toward our two guys - either to rescue them or kill them.

One of the best episodes of the series
dewlover4206 February 2021
Amidst maybe the most uneven season of the show, there's a gem of an episode. At least, in my opinion.

Mr. Robot's one of my all time favorite shows. This is very similar to it. As close as 24 could be to that first season that was more about hacking than anything else.

Plus I felt the ending was an actually great twist that even I DIDN'T REMEMBER, and I remember TONS of little things about this show! (I've seen the whole thing already, and re-watched the best seasons.)

I'm gonna end the review here with this. Seasons 1-5 are 100% agreed the best seasons of the show. This gets an unfair advantage being part of that.

It's the second bomb threat, and they didn't do a good job with ANOTHER bomb threat. So, maybe what they did with Season 5 was their way of saying "We're doing another virus, but we're not doing another Season 4."

With the way Season 4 ends, I wouldn't be surprised. I think the show's always been written on the fly. Maybe not, but I remember hearing Season 5 was. That was also the first season with a new showrunner.

Hit Men For Rent!
Hitchcoc28 January 2019
There must be a lot of money in assorted budget to hire killers. Jack and Paul go to a big corporation to get information concerning the leasing of a building to terrorists. One of the big execs warns his boss that their findings could destroy the company. Of course, these guys have hit men on speed dial and shut down the entire system. But it turns out that Paul has in his possession a printout. Jack and Paul are again in a life and death situation. Back at CTU, Erin has fallen apart after the death of her daughter and needs to be replaced. Tony is put in charge for a few minutes, but they soon find a replacement. Just like old times.
