Brenda Hampton (Creator) hasn't written as many episodes in the 3rd series thus far and her absence is felt here because this is in danger of being a dud episode, save for a nicely played story involving Mary.
The rest isn't great, with Simon and Ruthie's 'addictions' (because now it seems every episode has to have a theme that links all the stories) being a bit silly and over-played.
Once again Lucy is incredibly annoying, and is becoming a brat. I hope the writers calm her down a bit in upcoming episodes.
