Rushed episode

This was a less than mediocre episode.

May be Cannell ran out of idea of fill a large chunk of it with music?

It's full of plot holes.

The A-Team in their van tailing the brother of the singer closely, but he doesn't notices it. While the A-Team's van is tailed by a sedan of the bad guys. Again, the A-Team doesn't notices. Only little later Face spots them after they already left the van.

At the begin Hannibal already senses something is wrong just because of the football player gets into his car and drives off. So they load up weapons. That could had been made better.

This is also one of the few (if not the only) episode they don't get locked up in a warehouse or garage to then build some weapons.

What I liked was that the whole team but Murdoch was "into" the "girls", while Hannibal told Face before "We don't mess with our clients". Even B. A. became weak, while Murdoch worshiped B. A.

Awful Episode

Warning: Spoilers
Stephen J. Cannell should be ashamed of this episode. It's awful. "The Bells of St. Marys" is everything the A-Team should not have been.

-Why would they follow a highschool kid from football practice with no good reason?

-Why wouldn't B.A. notice they were being followed? They were being tailgated for God sakes!

-Why would Face be on a roof with a machine gun outside an apartment complex? The kid could be visiting his grandmother for all they know.

-Why is the A-Team struggling over the concept of keeping their hands off of four 19 year old girls? They are all old enough to be their dads! The A-Team are in hiding, not pedophiles.

-Why is B.A. wearing a hat!?

There are numerous other problems with this episode, but what's the point? It's long since been filmed and completed. Whatever you do, don't ever watch this episode. It's shameful.

A little stale

Warning: Spoilers
THE BELLS OF ST. MARY'S is something of a middling episode. The action takes place a little closer to home with Face personally involved with some of the peripheral characters. The depiction of women in the show has badly dated and they're only presented as either objects of lust or damsels in distress needing to be saved. The character interplay is okay but I can't help but think that things were starting to get a little stale at this point.
