Doc Culver has Shields covered now but suddenly Kane moves and shoots Shields. Culver saves Masters and decides to turn himself in, but Masters promises a fair trial. Fade out.
A pretty violent episode by today's standards but kids of our generation didn't blink. What was interesting was Shields was played by Jack Elam who was his laconic somewhat bearded best. Pure evil. Even then his acting stood out from the rest.
