Is my attacker around all the time or has my mind played a repeat on me!

This "AHP" episode number 1 from season 1 Sep. of 1985 called "Revenge" is one that's interesting with suspense and drama as it proves how a tragic event can play tricks on the mind. Lisa Tate(the attractive Linda Purl) is one cultured housewife who enjoys dance and ballet while listening to Phil Collins music only things change when she is attacked and assaulted by a creep. Her college professor husband John then takes matters into his own hands. However did it really help or not? As it appears Lisa thinks she has many attackers, it's like every man she sees is a monster to her. Overall pretty good episode that's a take on how the mind can play tricks on one after an attack of fear and fright.

Pilot of the Original AHP Pilot!

Warning: Spoilers
Thirty years later, this is the pilot of the original pilot. As Hitchcock would refer to it in the original opening of his soon to be classic show, a sweet little love story called..."Revenge!" As it has the same story as it is about a wife who is unstable and thinks that a man has raped her. As her professor husband is dead set on finding the creep that this to her.

Only for her to not be so sure of herself. As she is just that, unstable. Still unlike the original where the husband was put to justice to pay for his crimes. It shows her saying she does not know why attacked her as the husband becomes confused.

Not as good as the original. But it is still Hitchcock like!

Unbelievable. Watch the original!!

This version is so wrong compared to the 1955 one. The husband seems definetly too calm to justify the action he takes at the end. The pace is way too slow (slower than 1955, come on!), the wife seems very less sick prior to the pivotal event.

Briefly, if you have only one to watch, skip 1985 and watch 1955.
