Like the last episode, this one is more "filler" than anything else, though it does begin to introduce the idea that the Doctor is a drug addict--a recurring theme during the rest of the season and into season 4. This plot is pretty interesting in season 3, but in 4, I found it all to be a bit too whiny and silly--but more about that when I get around to reviewing season 4! The idea of a compulsive perfectionistic doctor using drugs to be able to "do it all" is actually pretty clever. The other plot involves a lot of relatively dull plots--the Narns are plotting once again, Vir is told he's being reassigned to Minbari as their new ambassador and a weird probe comes in contact with B-5--promising a wealth of amazing technology if they answer a long series of technical questions correctly. This final plot does take up most of the second half of the show and Sheridan's actions are pretty clever, but not enough to make the episode all that memorable.

Another Great One

Another great episode, mostly due to events concerning G'Kar and the remaining Narn population, but also in part due to the other half of the episode's events. A developing brotherly relationship between Garibaldi and the Doc is also a nice touch.
