Having watched all of series 1, which improved as it went with Ponch progressing from comedic relief, to more of a fully formed character, the start of series 2 is both funny & surprising. To start, the new disco theme catches the ear. Then by the end we have Ponch doing full Travolta from Saturday Night Fever (this aired around 9 months after that films release). It leaves the episode feeling very much like an attempted bigger better sequel, rather than continuation of series 1
