When Night Meets Day (#9.21)
ComedyFan201013 April 2015
Warning: Spoilers
The day when there is a solar eclipse a lot is happening in the ER. They have really selected some great variety of cases for this episode. There is a lot of constant action and excitement in this episode as well as emotions. The best part is that after all of this that happened during the day Pratt decides to stay in this hospital as it grew on him, happy to hear as he is a great character that I would miss.

One character like that had his arm finally amputated today. Dr. Romano. He still caused some great moments even in such a sad situation by having Elizabeth write "not this one, idiot" on his healthy arm. This is what he is like, and it was really sad to see his arm go into the bag....

Reminiscent of Epi 10 from this season

Although not as big a disaster, the episode is still very confusing like epi 10. Credit to the show for how ambitious the episode is, just don't feel like the end result was coherent enough.

Worst episode of the entire series
stacymar25 January 2022
The entire episode is chaotic and disjointed to the point of being completely nonsensical.

This is the exact moment when this series really started to go downhill.

Pratt the prat knew

Warning: Spoilers
Pratt the prat knew that he would fail miserably in a more professional environment, so he insisted on remaining at County Hospital.

Gimmicky

Warning: Spoilers
A very unsettling and hard to follow episode. Pratt comes to his senses and realizes he wouldn't be able to hang at a real hospital so he decides to stay. Too bad, I was looking forward to him leaving. Really tired of the poor urban blight social commentary we're being fed with increasing regularity. It's not the target audience.

Hopefully Romana won't lose his feistiness as he's the most interesting character on this politically correct yawn fest. Nice to see Carter snap at Kerry, who by the way shouldn't even be practicing anymore. How they've justified keeping her on this show ruins credibility. Really didn't like this episode.

Chen continues her downhill slide...17 eyerolls and/or grimaces this episode.
