Quotes
-
Wilma Flintstone : Have you made any plans, Fred?
Fred Flintstone : Yeah. I figure we can sell the car and then we'll have enough money to eat.
Barney Rubble : While we're hitchhiking home.
Wilma Flintstone , Betty Rubble : Hitchhiking home?
Wilma Flintstone : Fred Flintstone! Did you lose all our money?
Fred Flintstone : Yes, Wilma.
Wilma Flintstone , Betty Rubble : Oooooooh! MEN!
-
Wilma Flintstone : We're coming into a town, Fred. Let's pick out a motel.
Fred Flintstone : There's one just ahead.
[Fred drives up to a motel, but its sign quickly changes from ''Vacancy'' to ''No Vacancy'']
Wilma Flintstone : No vacancy, Fred.
Betty Rubble : There was a second ago.
Barney Rubble : They must have seen us coming.
Fred Flintstone : Well, there's another motel down the street.
[Fred drives to another motel]
Fred Flintstone : How's this one look, Wilma?
[two more cars dash into the motel and a ''No Vacancy'' sign appears]
Fred Flintstone : Of all the lowdown tricks! Taking our motel while we're making up our minds!
-
Wilma Flintstone : You're not going on the freeway?
Fred Flintstone : Of course I'm going on the freeway. We got to make up the time we lost.
[Fred drives rapidly onto the freeway]
Wilma Flintstone : Fred, slow down!
[Fred gets caught in a traffic jam and stops]
Fred Flintstone : So, okay, I slowed down.
-
[Fred speeds through traffic to pass a couple of trucks]
Fred Flintstone : Ah-ha! Made it! Now we got clear sailing.
Wilma Flintstone : Fred, that's crazy driving!
Betty Rubble : Please, Fred, be careful!
Fred Flintstone : Oh, you gals are always beefing. Why don't you be like Barney? My driving doesn't affect you, does it, Barney?
[Barney is seen with white hair and a long white beard]
Barney Rubble : [trembling] No, not at all, Fred.
-
Fred Flintstone : Okay, gang. We're all set. Here we go.
[Fred starts the car]
Fred Flintstone : Oh, listen to that motor. 300 brontosaurus power.
Wilma Flintstone : Fred, now, take it easy.
Fred Flintstone : We haven't even left the house yet, and you're backseat driving already.
