I love you but I don't like you

D.J. and Stephanie are at it again. When they bring their fight to Dad, he punishes them by sending them to their room and making them stay there until they love each other again. But neither wants to be stuck together so they fake a make up scene, then Stephanie moves out after Danny leaves - and in with Michelle.

But this only makes problems much worse the next morning. When Danny finds out, he decides a family meeting is in order. But in the end, guess what - it's Dad - not justice - that gets the final say!

I love Danny and his parenting. I think he does such a great job and comes up with some pretty good punishments, lectures, and sayings. This is no different. He basically tells them how it's going to be and wants no argument.

In the sub-plot, the three men argue over who's the best runner, so they set out to prove it by taking it to the track. And Becky (so happy to see her back again) is there cheering them on with a camera. I love her commentary! So funny.

Not Too Bad.

Another one of the many episodes about sibling rivalry. On the whole, its run-of-the-mill. Luckily there are some things that save it from not being a good episode.

DJ and Stephanie always go trick-or-treating together. Now that DJ is in grade 7, her and Kimmy will go to a party together instead. Stephanie is hurt, leading to a huge feud between her and her sister. Steph spends a sleepless night in Michelle's room and the family holds a mock trial the next day. Things get resolved right on time. La-da-dee. La-dee-da.

The subplot features Danny, Jesse and Joey having a race around the track that will be broadcast on Wake Up, San Fransisco. Winner makes the losers dress up in their choice for Halloween. I'd say this subplot saves the episode. The main plot does have a good final few minutes, but that alone would not have been good enough.
