The Chief's old flame
bkoganbing22 February 2017
Anne Baxter and Warren Stevens are the guest stars in this Ironside story of an old flame of Raymond Burr counting on him to get her off a murder rap. There's a recording of a murder on one of those old reel to reel tapes, but no body. Difficult to prove murder without one of those for Stevens.

So the Ironside team goes to work in a manner of speaking for the defense. The husband was a man who liked to play around, but apparently was most discreet. His playground was in a remote part of the Northern California coastline.

In the end justice is served, there's two murders not one and the planning was most elaborate. A little too elaborate which is what brings about justice.

Robert T. Ironside's Dilemma
sol-kay26 July 2013
***SPOILERS*** A heart breaking case for Chief Robert T. Ironside, Raymond Burr, who sticks his neck out for a good friend his former lover Carolyn White, Anne Baxter, in a murder case that she's accused of committing. With all the evidence implicating Carolyn in the murder of her husband Jason White Chief Ironside in his heart not his head feels that she's totally innocent of the crime. As it soon turns out Carolyn in fact has all the evidence on her side not only in her being Innocent of murdering Jason but his girlfriend model Candy Ericson as well.

It seems that there was an elaborate plot to frame Carolyn in both Jason & Candy's murders but who could have done it? Ironside investigating all the evidence soon starts to realize that there were two crimes committed at the very same time. One to frame Carolyn and the other to exonerate her! Whatevery sick mind was behind all his had Ironside and the prosecuting D.A Layton, Warren Stevens, running around in circles all throughout this Ironside episode without realizing that they were being manipulated by Jason & Candy's killer!

****SPOILERS*** Mind numbing final with Chief Ironide finally getting to the bottom of the double murders that Carolyn was accused of committing which is so bizarre and mind blowing that it takes almost a full five minutes for Ironside to explain it. Not in just how their murderer planned his crime but the lengths that he or she went through to execute it! Which in the end fell completely apart by burying the body, that of Jason White, of one of his two victims in full view of Ironside and the local police in the area!
