Moot court gets lively
bkoganbing26 September 2013
This Ironside episode gives Don Mitchell as Mark Sanger a chance to shine as we go inside his law school class where Judge James Daly is recreating one of his famous trial for moot court. But moot court gets a bit lively as threats are made against Daly and his wife Mala Powers and people connected with the original murder trial where Daly gave the perpetrator a death sentence start showing up.

A little too coincidental and contrived for my taste. A pity because Don Mitchell really owns this episode and does a wonderful job as the defense attorney in the moot court. He really gets under Daly's skin and they have a great scene together.

It's a family affair as daughter Tyne Daly plays one of his law school students and the skipper Alan Hale, Jr. is also in the story.

But way too contrived.
