Another fun episode.
Big Ed's old CIA partner, Sandra (played by Mimi Rogers) with whom he apparently posed at least once and for a long-term assignment, as husband and wife comes to the Montecito to the chagrin of Jillian (Cheryl Ladd, who plays her scenes with Sandra perfectly. The last frame of the tennis scene was hilarious.
It turns out that Sandra is in town with a pop star, Janet Ellis, who is having a big comeback tour concert launch show at Montecito, and there is the threat of a stalker attending the show. Ed and Danny thus need to work with Sandra to foil the threat and keep Ms. Ellis safe. Meanwhile, Mary gets the unwanted job of following Janet and her dog Kiki everywhere.
Elsewhere, Sam has troubles with a hard-to-please whale played by NYPD Blue's James McDaniel and when a slightly-underage by mere minutes girl wins $100,00 at the slots - believing she was 21 at the time - the Montecito crew have to figure out a way to make sure she gets her winnings.
