Movie fan Lucy is persuaded by a neighbor (Reta Shaw) to take over a Maps-of-the-Movie-Stars business when the latter has to move away suddenly.
A decent, but not outstanding effort that has some good and bad points. The celebrity cameos at the end make this one notable and it's nice to see Lucy have an actual hobby. However, I never cared for the Lucy-in-drag episodes because the writers always end up making her needlessly destructive and it's not really funny. We also get another gorilla appearance here just four episodes after the last time we saw one.
The curiously named Flip Mark makes his second appearance on the show, here playing a rival teenage map-seller who gets territorial with Lucy. His delivery here is more standard than the unique line readings he gave in Season 3's "Lucy and the Missing Stamp."
The Carole Lombard magazine Lucy shows Reta Shaw was an authentic issue of Screen Play from September 1936.
Bert Freed as the militant hotelier can be seen trying to stifle laughter at one of Lucy's lines.
One of the female extras can be seeing wearing the outrageous green hat Ms. Ball wore in Season 3's "Lucy Goes to Vegas".
