Clint Walker makes his second and last appearance as construction foreman Frank Winslow. Lucy invites him to the bank picnic, which turns out to be the same day as Frank's birthday. Refused a loan by Mooney to buy a gift, Lucy decides to knit Frank a sweater instead.
This is just an okay episode, but at least the premise isn't as silly here as it was on Walker's last appearance. The scene where Lucy tries to get Frank's measurements without him knowing is only mildly amusing.
The funniest part is when Mooney tries on the finished product and calls it "a turtleneck rug". He looks like Gumby in it.
