Overworked Lucy is on the verge of a nervous breakdown just as Mooney's college pal arrives with his showbiz partner -- a full-grown monkey.
Yet another silly Season 5 entry. Lucy basically spends the entire episode acting like Gladys Kravitz from BEWITCHED, thinking that she's either suffering from hallucinations, or that Mooney has actually turned into a monkey. It's also odd that the Lucy Carmichael in this particular episode is efficient and industrious - it goes against everything we've seen so far.
Lew Parker plays the psychiatrist. He was a semi-regular on THAT GIRL which premiered a few months prior to this episode's airing.
Lucy would work with monkeys again a few episodes later in "Lucy the Babysitter" which is one of the few monkey shows that isn't half bad.
