I don't believe it!

Victor and Margaret are off to Greece on holiday, despite a leaflet from Mrs Warboys warning of the dangers of Athens Airport.

It is a totally zany, hilarious and dark half an hour of the most funny comedy ever. It all works, the snake provides multiple laughs.

The writing is outstanding, poor Mrs Warboys is the butt of so many jokes, absolutely terrific from Doreen Mantle, so very funny.

We get Victor's catchphrase I don't believe it, it would become very well known.

A brilliant round off to series one. 9/10

The Return of the Speckled Band

The Meldrews are planning to go on holiday to Athens. Mrs Worboys tells them about the perils of a Greek holiday.

It is the final episode of the first series and this is probably the zaniest and darkly comic of them all.

A lost python, Mrs Worboys with an upset stomach, watching the video of Alien and alligator eggs.

Not to forget the meter reader who finds his shoes have gone to a charity collection and a man sitting in a wheelchair who does not require a push. No wonder Victor finds it all to hard to believe it.
