Misunderstood

It is easy to believe P&T are saying there is no global climate change, but mostly this episode is about the messenger not the message.

They aren't against environmentalists, just the ones who have hijacked the message of environmentalism and substituted messages of anti-capitalism, anti-corporation, etc. to preach socialism under the guise of "saving the planet."

So before you debunk the episode, pay attention.

This did not age well.

Big yikes. I have always been a big fan of Penn and Teller but many parts of this episode did not age well at all. Especially in this era of Covid-19 and rapid climate disasters.

They do say that the science wasn't settled back then...though it actually was...it was just that no one was really paying attention.

It's just very cringey to watch this episode here in 2020 given what we know now. I would love to see/hear how they feel about this issue now.

Climate change is an hoax apparently

So climate change is an hoax. Why did you forgot to ask NASA? Propaganda for your own beliefs, this episode is total bull. Of course there are people that are less informed about climate change, the hosts of the show for example. The conclusion that if you fight climate change by fighting corporate greed which makes total sense doing, you are a Socialist (scare word only in the US, nowadays much lesser thanks to the internet) it's just pathetic. Can't believe Penn and Teller great magicians don't believe in climate change.
