Why doesn't poor old Petrocelli get a body guard?! After all, I've only seen about 2/3 of the first season of the show and already he's been shot at, run off the road repeatedly and beaten up several times! "The Kidnapping" is no different, with two goons punching the snot out of the lawyer. You wonder why the guy doesn't travel about town with a body guard!!
The show begins with a mother (Kim Darby) kidnapping her son from the controlling and rich grandfather. In the process, it appears as if the mother attacks one of the grandfather's staff...and later, she's arrested because this staff person was found dead! Can Petrocelli manage to not only prove her innocent but also help her get back legal custody of the boy?
This is a decent episode...not great not bad. Its ending is a bit unusual and it makes for a nice happy family...but a bit hard to believe. Worth your time.
