"Keep calm Henry"

Warning: Spoilers
Henry Crabbe and Freddy Fisher may have started out in the police force around a similar time, but its about the only thing that they have in common.

Fisher's success in climbing the greasy pole has often been, at the expense of Henry Crabbe.

After the Dudley Hooperman debacle Fisher considers that he has the ideal leverage to use to his advantage over Crabbe.

But after years of experience Henry is not as green as he is cabbage looking, and he knows all too well when Fisher is being political.

A detective constable Ken Shipley has apparently gone rogue, and Fisher wants Crabbe to investigate him.

But are things exactly as clear cut as Fisher claims them to be, when he assigns Crabbe to the case?

Matters are further complicated when Henry actually meets Shipley, and hears his story.

Especially so when he sees the family the stressed out, long suffering spouse and daughter.

Henry Crabbe is gearing up to open Pie in the Sky but, he is forced to consider if has overreached himself.

He has to meet Shipley in the Nebdish Continental Hotel and rather disgruntled, with the food quality tried a little ad hoc catering for himself.

Unfortunately it has unfortunate consequences for one of the Hotel's staff John, who gets sacked but all is not entirely lost.

P. C. Cambridge is a brilliant well rounded character and played to perfection by an, actress Bella Enahoro that I have yet to see on any other TV programme.

The character seems to be developed within earlier series but it seems, for no good reason that I can fathom is rather phased out.

I can't help feel that the actress is being to say the least short changed, by the shows producers in their handling of her character.

She is intelligent and keen to get on in the force, though with her youth is somewhat naive in her dealings with superior officers.
