Joe Daley, a former partner of Ryker's is framed for the murder of a local gangster.
A good episode with several fine guest character actors. Dane Clark plays Daley, he was very busy during this time with many guest spots on TV shows. Don Gordon ("Bullitt") plays the real killer. Abe Vigoda ("The Godfather" and later on "Barney Miller") has a brief role as the gangster/murder victim. It seems that he had attempted to rape Daley's daughter and that provides the motive. Daley also suddenly feels like a hero when he is accused since he once froze during a police shootout and Ryker was wounded. One more trivia note-this is the first time Kate Jackson does not appear at all in an episode.
