Another Great Christmas Episode
Jimmy_the_Gent43 June 2020
Christmas at The New Driftwood Inn commercial for the Inn at Christmas, where they have the Lobotomy Room for punk bands to play.

Funny scene where we see stars on The Hollywood Walk Of Fame and hear impressions of Clark Gable,Judy Holliday and Edward G Robinson.

It's A Wonderful Film a funny and well written long sketch with a parody of Christmas movies. Marty Simmons(Levy) is a movie producer who shuts down the old fashioned Christmas movie being directed by old timer Frank Bailey (Charles Palmer). Marty gives to the director's job to a coke head played by Martin Short who gets some big laughs. He intends to make a teen sex comedy Christmas movie. Catherine O'Hara is here playing the drunken girl friend of Marty. Marty drives home and ends up in a town called Krebsville. Frank Bailey shows up a ghost. There is a funny Going My Way spoof.. Bing Crosby(Flaherty) is directing a choir and there a funny take off on the final scene as Crosby's mother (also played by Flaherty) shows up. Then It goes to Miracle On 34th Street, Andrea Martin has funny scene as the Thelma Ritter character from the film. We get a Christmas Carol spoof as Marty finds out the mean old man from the town is himself. He wakes up and mends his ways. The final scene has Mitch Miller (Flaherty)

Commercial= Driftwood Inn was destroyed in a Christmas riot in the Lobotomy Room.
